When several armies begin moving across the map, cardboard markers can quickly become crowded and awkward to handle. These miniature standard bearers give each army a clear three-dimensional presence, making forces easier to identify, pick up and move between regions while also transforming the appearance of the game board.
The set contains 6 unique miniatures — 3 representing the forces of darkness and 3 representing the free and heroic forces. Every model is different, with its own character, equipment and banner design, while the two sides have been given clearly contrasting visual styles so they are easy to distinguish during play.
Each miniature is 3D printed in high-quality resin and individually hand painted to a high gaming standard. Particular attention is given to the faces, armor, clothing, weapons, banners, shading, weathering and scenic bases. These are supplied as finished gaming pieces — there is no assembly or painting required.

WHY USE MINIATURE ARMY MARKERS?
Unlike flat cardboard markers, miniature bannermen are easy to see and handle on a crowded game board. Simply pick up the appropriate standard bearer and move it to the next region together with the army it represents. This is especially useful during larger battles involving multiple armies and territories.
They also add considerably more visual character to the battlefield, turning functional army markers into part of the miniature landscape of the game.
